Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026

1. Who we are

This website (the “Site”) is operated by HUMIWELL LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16964540, with its registered office at 61 Bridge Street, Kington, Herefordshire, HR5 3DJ, United Kingdom (“Humiwell”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, Humiwell is the data controller of personal data collected through this Site.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your personal data, contact us at hello@humiwell.co.uk.

2. What personal data we collect

We collect only the personal data you give us directly through the forms on this Site:

  • Contact form: your name, email address, and the content of your message.
  • Waitlist / “Notify me” forms: your email address, so we can let you know when a product launches or becomes available.

We do not collect your postal address, telephone number, date of birth, or any payment or financial information through this Site.

We do not sell any product directly through this Site. All purchases of Humiwell products take place on Amazon. If you buy a Humiwell product on Amazon, your order, payment, and delivery information is collected and processed by Amazon as a separate data controller, under Amazon’s own privacy notice — not by us. We encourage you to review Amazon’s privacy policy separately.

3. How we use your personal data

PurposeData usedLawful basis (UK GDPR)
Responding to your enquiryName, email, messageLegitimate interests (responding to enquiries sent to us)
Notifying you about a product launch or availabilityEmail addressConsent (you provide your email specifically to be notified)
Keeping the Site secure and working correctlyLimited technical data generated automatically by our hosting and security software (see Cookie Policy)Legitimate interests (protecting the Site from abuse and ensuring it functions)

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not currently use it for any marketing beyond notifying waitlist sign-ups about launch/availability, as described above.

4. Who we share your data with

We share the personal data we collect only with:

  • Hostinger — our website hosting provider, which stores the Site’s database (including form submissions) on our behalf, as our data processor.
  • Google (Google Workspace) — used to manage hello@humiwell.co.uk; if you email us, or a form notification is sent to us, it passes through Google’s systems as our data processor.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for their own marketing purposes.

5. International transfers

Our website is hosted with Hostinger. The Site’s live server is located in the United Kingdom. Hostinger stores backup copies of Site data (including form submissions) in Germany, within the European Economic Area (EEA) — so your data is not held exclusively in the UK.

The UK’s data protection framework recognises the EEA, including Germany, as providing an adequate level of data protection. Because the UK and Germany both fall within this recognised framework, no further transfer safeguard (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) is currently required for this hosting arrangement.

Google Workspace is provided by Google, which may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Google is certified under the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the UK government recognises as providing an adequate level of protection for personal data transferred to certified US organisations.

If our hosting or backup arrangements change — for example, if data begins to be stored or processed outside the UK/EEA — we will update this policy and put an appropriate safeguard in place before that happens.

6. How long we keep your data

  • Contact form enquiries: kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up, then deleted.
  • Waitlist email addresses: kept until the relevant product launches and the notification has been sent, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever is earlier.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Ask us to delete your data.
  • Ask us to restrict or object to how we use your data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (for example, to leave the waitlist).

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@humiwell.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.

8. Children’s privacy

This Site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and the Site is not directed at or marketed to children.

9. Cookies

Details of the cookies and similar technologies used on this Site are set out in our separate Cookie Policy.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if the way we use data on this Site changes. We will post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date.
